SAE 75W140 is a fully synthetic gear lubricant formulated from synthetic base oils and an advanced additive system. It is designed for use in many railway gearboxes and provides excellent load-carrying capability where extreme pressures and shock loading are expected.

Application

SAE 75W140provides excellent low temperature fluidity for safe lubrication during very low temperature transmission and transaxle startup, and also maintains a thick protective oil film during extremely hot operating conditions. Used in powered transmission and axle drives for cars, highway light and heavy-duty trucks, busses, and vans where an API GL-5 is required.
