Versatile Cascade Booster Additive-KIM 8757B

KIM 8757B additive is a booster package designed to be used in conjunction with the new KIM 8799B cascade package in the manufacture of a wide range of mainstream heavy-duty oils. KIM 8799B additive is designed to cover a premium profile including API CI-4, ACEA E5/E7 and Volvo VDS-3 approval at an individual treat rate of 16.2 %wt, but the package is also the principal constituent of a down treat cascade to cover performance profiles at the API CH-4, CG-4, CF-4 and CF-4/SJ only when used with KIM 8757B additive as a trimming booster.

KIM 8757B additives are designed to be used in conjunction with KIM 8799B additive to meet the following general performance profiles.

• API CH-4, ACEA E5/E7 and MB 228.3 package approval 12.3 %wt KIM 8799B plus 0.9 %wt KIM 8757B booster

• API CG-4. ACEA E3 and MB 228.3

9.6 %wt KIM 8799B plus 1.1 %wt KIM 8757B booster

• API CF-4. ACEA E3 and MB 228.3 package approval 6.3 %wt KIM 8799B plus 1.8 %wt KIM 8757B booster
• API CF-4/CF/SJ only
