KIM 8805XL has been developed to meet the requirements for an economical and flexible cascade additive system. KIM 8805XL provides excellent deposit, oil oxidation, wear and rust control in gasoline and diesel engines. KIM 8805XL is designed to meet API performance categories SB/CB through SF/CF/CF-2 and MB 227.0/1. With KIM 2982 as a booster, KIM 8805XL can meet API SG/CE/CF-4, PD-2 and VW 505.00 level. With KIM 2986 as a booster, KIM 8805XL can meet SG, CD and CF.

The dosage of KIM 8805XL varies from 2.0 % wt to 8.8 % wt depending on the performance category that is required. Recommended treat rates by performance level are as follows:
