Devon Transmission SAE 80W-90 GL-5 Semi-Synth

All-season semi-synthetic transmission oil of API GL-5 level for highly loaded transmission units operating in severe operating conditions

Devon Transmission SAE 80W-90 GL-5 Semi-Synth is a modern semi-synthetic transmission oil developed on the basis of high-index synthetic oils in combination with a multifunctional additive package providing excellent antioxidant, anti-corrosion, anti-scuff, anti-foam and low-temperature properties. Devon Transmission SAE 80W-90 GL-5 Semi-Synth oil provides maximum protection of transmissions from wear and scuffing.

ADVANTAGES:

  • Excellent oil pumpability at low temperatures
  • Antioxidant properties slow down oil aging at low temperatures
  • Thermal degradation resistance minimizes deposit formation
  • Durable oily film protects metal surfaces and transmission components from corrosion
  • Maintaining high stability of properties throughout the entire service life of the oil
  • Reliable protection of gear and hypoid gears from wear, scuffing, micropitting and other damage in the boundary friction mode
  • Compatibility with rubber seal materials reduces contamination and prevents oil leakage

APPLICATION:

    • All-season in mechanical transmissions with any type of gear drives, including hypoid (drive axles, transfer boxes, etc.) of passenger cars and trucks, other equipment operating in the most severe operating conditions requiring the use of GL-5 level oils.
    • Drive axles for commercial, highway and off-road vehicles. Final drives, power take-off boxes, transfer boxes.
    • Non-synchronized manual transmissions or gearboxes with steel synchronizers.
